Dr. Chaitanya Hemant Raut, is probably the only Gem from our Chaukalshi Vadval community who has achieved extraordinary height in the field of medicine. He has gathered a galore of rich academic qualifications and has scaled vertical limits which only a select few could achieve in the entire country.
Besides being an MBBS and MS in General Surgery, Dr. Chaitanya also has accomplished the master degree of MCh plus DNB, by which he has gathered specialist knowledge in critical area of heart surgery. With such a heavy academic profile in his field, Dr. Chaitanya today shares the stage alongside the super specialist doctors of the nation.
Dr. Chaitanya's parents hails from Narpad, Dahanu. He has completed his schooling in Dahisar, Mumbai, where he continues to reside till date since his childhood. He obtained the MBBS degree from the reputed institution, Lokmanya Tilak hospital from Sion, Mumbai. He completed his MS from Netaji Subhaschandra Bose hospital, Jabalpur, while his esteemed MCh degree is again from the Lokmanya Tilak hospital, Sion. The admission for all the above degrees were obtained through passing the respective CET's with merit rank. The MCh degree has a special honour as he stood on the 3rd position from the entire state of Maharashtra.
Today Dr. Chaitanya serves as the 'Heart Surgeon' at Lokmanya Tilak hospital, Sion. During the course of his practice, he has performed several surgeries over the ailing patients and has provided the highest possible service to the mankind. He has collected vast experience from the heart surgeries performed by him, which counts above 200 till date.
Besides being a high profile doctor, he continues to offer his services to the poor and needy patients across rural parts of the country. His team actively provides such pro-bono service in the interiors of Maharashtra and Gujarat. Dr. Chaitanya's articles have been published in various national as well as international medical journals, which exemplifies his mastery over the subject. He also is a member of Indian Association of Cardio Thoracic Surgeons. He has an avid interest in the sport of Rifle shooting, and has bragged national level bronze medal in it.
